Mono-XL

This 40 kWp flat-roof photovoltaic system was installed by our client, O.E.M.A., in Forlì. The use of Sun Ballast photovoltaic structures allowed for the creation of a robust and professional installation. The Mono-XL 10° system (also available with a 5° inclination) provides reliable and durable support for large modules. The photovoltaic ballasts are made from high-quality concrete, and the pre-insertion of M8 inserts within the structure ensures exceptional tear resistance.
Like all Sun Ballast photovoltaic structures, those in the Mono-XL system require no fixing holes or complex metal accessories: simply place them without drilling, tighten the clamps, and proceed with the electrical connections. With the ballasts used in this system, the panels are mounted in a portrait orientation with four-point fixing on the long side, making installation straightforward and fast even on gravel roofs. The structures can be placed directly on the surface or on the material beneath the gravel layer.
In any case, wind resistance and system stability are guaranteed, and assembly times are minimized. Additionally, the Mono-XL system allows for free adjustment of both the length and spacing between rows, simplifying obstacle management and adapting the system configuration to the specific characteristics of the roof.
The perfect balance between resistance and lightness – the Connect system joins all ballasts into one grid, reducing roof load and transport costs, while distributing weight in a perfectly balanced fashion.
The system is available with a wide range of tilt options and can be installed quickly and easily on any flat roof.
